Here, we introduce the various products that are manufactured through the application of Sanyo’s unique thin film processes.
Thin film formation technology has long been in demand in limited specialty industries such as the manufacture of flat panel displays (FPDs). In contrast, with the arrival of the information network era, demand for thin film products has expanded to encompass displays use in general information appliances. Consequently, the need is growing for clearer, larger, high-definition screens. Because Sanyo Vacuum Industries has already established a production system capable of producing larger substrates, we can satisfy our customers’ increasingly diverse needs. Below we introduce our comprehensive line of thin film products.

ITO
We manufacture ITO film products by building on our proprietary manufacturing technology, the SV sputtering process. We offer a full line of thin film products that satisfy the varied needs of industry.
TFT-Gate Film Substrate
The TFT gate film substrate, a major component of FPDs, contributes to their high-quality appearance and larger screen size. Sanyo’s TFT gate film substrate plays a critical role in controlling the electrical current essential to the functioning of TFTs.
Optical Functional Film Substrate
The optical functional film substrate is an important constituent of FPDs. Our highly advanced thin film forming technique gives us the capability to manufacture optical functional film substrates with multifaceted control functions.
Optical Functional FIlm Substrate
Metal Coating
Metal films incorporate aluminum or silver alloys that are used as a visible radiation mirror. Controlling the film thickness allows for control of its optical and electrical characteristics.
Other Products
In addition to the products mentioned above, we manufacture a full range of thin film products through the application of our unique high-functional thin film technology. For an introduction to these products, click on the following link.
