Since the foundation of the company, we at Sanyo Vacuum have been stimulating new user needs while satisfying the existing needs of users, primarily consisting of those in the LCD fields, as well as promoting highly advanced R&D projects.
Today, we are enhancing ion plasma technology and further expanding the range of its applications to include fields other than LCD.
Expanding in other fields
One good example can be found in the development of the multi-function thin film sputtering technology, which is applied to full-color electro luminescence or solar battery units.
A cooperative R&D system
In conducting research into such new thin film products, we have established a cooperative research and development system going beyond the barriers existing within or outside the company by joining forces with universities, national and public research institutes, and institutional research organizations.
